Founded in 1977, Collier Health Services, Inc. (CHSI), a 501 (c) (3), continues to grow and proudly serve the citizens of Collier County with quality care and service. The mission statement clearly reflects CHSI’s goals and purpose:
"CHSI is committed to providing a comprehensive system of quality health care services, which are easily accessed by all persons and families within our service areas through an efficient, community-based network of caring professionals who assure the dignity and respect of each individual they serve."
CHSI encompasses both the Community Health Center and Migrant Health Center models of care. Services are provided through twelve fixed-site locations and a mobile unit, which specifically targets the provision of medical and dental care to at-risk children. CHSI physicians encompass the following specialties: OB/GYN, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics. Midlevel providers support the physicians with backgrounds in pediatrics, women’s health, and family medicine. Nursing/non-nursing clinical staff is comprised of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, and certified nursing assistants. Ancillary staff includes: pharmacist, pharmacy technicians, radiology technician, laboratory technologist, phlebotomists, clinical outreach workers, and HIV counselors. CHSI operates two Dental Clinics that are staffed by Dentists and dental assistants.
