Established in 1977, Central Florida Family Health Center serves patients from both rural and urban areas, predominantly the working poor and uninsured. Their mission speaks to their primary goal:
"To establish, maintain and specialize in the delivery of primary healthcare services and to our community regardless of race, sex, color, nationality, language, origin, or economic status."
Services provided include: Health Education, Nutritional Guidance, Disease Prevention, Cancer Screening, Immunizations, Physical Examinations, Diabetes Screening, Hypertension Screening, Tuberculosis Screening, AIDS Screening, Family Planning, Medical Diagnosis, Treatment and Follow-Up of Acute and Chronic Diseases in the areas of Family Pratice, Primary Gynecology, Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Patient Referral for Specialty Consultations and Diagnostics. Pharmacy and Laboratory Services for patients provided on-site.
