Angela Strain, Organizational Advancement Director
Prior to assisting CHCA garner federal funding through HRSA's High Impact EHR Implementation, HIT Innovations, and Health Information Exchange Planning grant programs, Angela worked with community health centers in her home state of Tennessee and other community based organizations. As executive director of a grassroots nonprofit in Memphis, and through her continued role as a consultant with the Alliance for Nonprofit Excellence based there, Angela provides broad experience in many aspects of non-profit management, including strategic planning, program development, legislative advocacy, and more. Currently, Angela serves as Organizational Advancement Director for CHCA, providing members with grant research and writing assistance, grants management, facilitating the Quality Improvement Committee, directing Federal and State legislative affairs, developing EHR needs assessments and clinical/business requirements, strategic/business planning with the CEO and Board, and assessment of external agency reporting/data collection requirements.
