Membership Information / Categories

Admission for membership shall be made in the best interest of the organization and upon a majority vote of the Board of Directors (which consists of one representative for every three voting member organizations). Categories are defined within the organization bylaws and include the following:

1. Florida FQHC Partner Member – any organization designated as an FQHC or FQHC "look alike", organized and operated under the laws of the State of Florida, and that qualifies as a Partner under the definitions herein.
2. Other FQHC Partner Member – any organization designated as an FQHC or FQHC "look alike", organized and operated outside of the State of Florida, and that qualifies as a Partner under the definitions herein.
3. Florida FQHC Standard Member – any organization designated as an FQHC or FQHC "look alike", organized and operated under the laws of the State of Florida, and that qualifies as Standard under the definitions herein.
4. Other FQHC Standard Member – any organization designated as an FQHC or FQHC "look alike", organized and operated outside of the State of Florida, and that qualifies as Standard under the definitions herein.
5. Associate Partner Member – any non-FQHC organization that qualifies as a Partner under the definitions herein
6. Associate Standard Member – any non-FQHC organization that qualifies as Standard under the definitions herein or any Florida FQHC Standard Member or Other FQHC Standard Member that wishes to hold the designation of an Associate Standard Member.
